Magento 2, SAP.
A first e‑commerce channel had to join a sales system already running
Pronar started the project with no e‑commerce channel of its own. Launching an online store meant the company selling online for the first time.
At the same time the business already ran a thriving sales operation. The new store was to connect to those existing processes in a way that would not need extra resources from the team to run.
Automating order management, stock synchronisation and logistics without disrupting the company's day-to-day work was an important requirement.
Three areas that had to come together in one implementation
- 01
Fitting e‑commerce into existing sales
The new store had to connect smoothly to sales processes that were already running, without the team having to commit extra resources to it.
- 02
Automating operations
The project called for automated order management, stock synchronisation and logistics, without disrupting the company's day-to-day work.
- 03
Serving retail and business customers
Pronar Wheels sells to two different groups. The platform therefore had to allow for the needs of retail customers and of the B2B sector.
What the Pronar Wheels project covered
The project covered the UX/UI layer, the integration between the platform and SAP, preparing sales for business customers, training the client's team, and maintaining and developing the store afterwards.

UX/UI design from scratch
The store's design was made from scratch. It uses the brand's distinctive colours and allows for the detailed product information these products need.
- 02
Integrating the platform with SAP
The sales platform was connected to the SAP system. The integration covered processes around products, stock levels, customers and order handling, among others.
- 03
Dedicated Magento training
After the implementation, the brand's representatives were trained on the Magento panel. The training covered the admin panel, products, orders and customers, payments and deliveries, marketing tools and promotions, reports and analytics, and security.
- 04
A separate website for B2B sales
The platform was split into two websites, one for retail customers and one for business customers. The B2B side supports wholesale orders, personalised price lists and flexible payment options, among other things.
- 05
Development, hosting and maintenance
Pronar Wheels received a package covering hosting and the option to keep developing the store. It includes a qualified administrator on call 24/7, daily backups, a properly configured server and the support of certified developers.
Magento 2 integrated with SAP – automating sales at Pronar Wheels
SAP remains the system Pronar runs its sales, warehouse and documents in. The store keeps no second copy of that data — it takes it from SAP and sends the orders back.
The confirmed data loop
- SAPproducts, prices and stock levelsMagento 2
- Magento 2ordersSAP
Confirmed areas of the integration
- Products
- product data updated automatically
- Stock levels
- availability across the range, synchronised
- Customers
- customer data synchronised
- Prices
- recalculated from currency rates
- Documents
- documents passed on, payment documents generated
- Orders
- order statuses passed on
- Shipping
- shipping details created
That loop is the heart of the build: products, prices and stock levels travel from SAP into Magento 2, and orders placed in the store travel back to SAP. Launching e‑commerce therefore did not mean maintaining the range in two places at once.
The integration also covers passing documents on to customers, recalculating prices from currency rates, synchronising customer data, passing on order statuses, generating payment documents and creating shipping details. It assigns no direction to those areas, because the description of the project does not state one.
B2B and B2C inside one Magento 2 build
Pronar Wheels serves both retail and business customers. Rather than run both sales models the same way, the platform was split into two separate websites — inside one Magento 2 instance, on a shared back end.
Retail sales
A simple buying process for individual customers
The retail website gives access to the products, their descriptions and the delivery options meant for individual consumers, with a simple, quick path to purchase.
B2B sales
Features meant for business customers
The business website supports wholesale orders, personalised price lists and flexible payment options.
Shared by both websites
- one Magento 2 instance and one admin panel
- one SAP integration, the same for both websites
- product data, base prices and stock levels, all coming from SAP
- the Pronar Wheels visual identity
What differs between B2C and B2B
- the path to purchase: simple and quick on the retail website, wholesale orders on the business one
- pricing: personalised price lists on the B2B side only
- payment: flexible payment options on the B2B side only
- delivery options meant for individual consumers, on the retail website
Selected parts of the store as delivered
Product finder
The home page carries a “Dobierz opony do swoich potrzeb” section — pick the tyres you need — with a finder for the available sizes and tread patterns.

A product page on the B2B website
The product page meant for a wholesale customer shows the product's technical data, a PDF to download, a note that you have to log in to see the price, the option to send an enquiry about the product and the option to add it to the basket.
Pronar's first e‑commerce channel joined the sales processes already running
The project launched the first e‑commerce channel in Pronar's history and connected the sales platform to SAP. The store was split into two websites, matching the needs of retail and business customers.

- First e-commerce
- The first e‑commerce channel in Pronar's history went live.
- 2 websites
- Retail and business customers served separately.
- Automated orders
- The integration supports automatic handling of order statuses, payment documents and shipping details.
The SAP integration automated part of the work around orders. According to the description of the project, that automation sped sales up, removed the errors that come with handling things by hand and saved the team time.
