The areas the store implementation covered

  • 01

A design layer consistent with the brand's communication

The project began with a bespoke design for the store. The D2C platform was visualised using the palette the brand works with, and it kept the elements of communication characteristic of the manufactory, including its tone of voice.

  • 02

Product sets and the free-delivery message

The scope covered a bespoke product-set module with the option to compose your own package, and a module telling the customer in the cart how much is missing to reach free delivery.

  • 03

    Calculating delivery costs

For domestic and international deliveries we prepared a tool that calculates the shipping cost from the mass of the products and the postcode, according to the settings saved in the store's admin panel.

  • 04

Reviews, customer accounts and the loyalty programme

The project covered the integration with zaufane.pl, the option to sign in and register with Google or Facebook account data, and a loyalty programme that rewards users with points.

  • 05

Gift cards, the blog and the ingredient database

We implemented electronic and physical gift cards, a blog with products linked to the content of each post, and an ingredient database that lets customers search products by what is in them.

Magento 2 joined with a review system and account features

The D2C sales platform was built on Magento 2. In this project the store was integrated with the zaufane.pl system, and users were given the option to sign in and register with the data saved in their Google or Facebook accounts.

The delivery cost is calculated from the mass of the products and the postcode

The Mydlarnia Cztery Szpaki store delivers within Poland as well as abroad. The project produced a bespoke tool that makes calculating transport costs easier, depending on the order and on where it is going.

The mechanism adjusts the shipping cost automatically. For customers abroad it makes it possible to charge a cost matching what the carrier actually charges for the transport.

Let's talk about a Magento 2 implementation
  1. What is taken into account

    • The mass of the articles in the order
    • The postcode read during the purchase
  2. The settings saved in the admin panelthe shipping cost is calculated from them

The key solutions built into the store

Customer reviews from zaufane.pl

The store was integrated with zaufane.pl, the system responsible for collecting and presenting consumer reviews. The tool produces the stars in Google Ads and PLA campaigns, the stars in organic search results, the widget in the store and the product survey.

Product sets the customer configures

A bespoke module makes it possible to sell product sets. On the product page the user can pick the articles that go into the package and put together their own composition from the products available.

How much is missing for free delivery

A bespoke module shows in the shopping cart how much is missing to reach the free-delivery threshold.

The loyalty programme

Users can earn points for creating an account, for purchases, for leaving a review of a product and for returning used packaging to be reused. The points can be used as a discount on the next purchase. The programme also covers notifications about rewards expiring.

Electronic and physical gift cards

Electronic and physical gift cards can be bought in the store. After the purchase the system generates a code automatically, to be used within a set period. Depending on the kind of card, the code is sent by e-mail or delivered by courier on a prepared card.

Signing in with Google and Facebook

An account can be created and signed into with Google or Facebook credentials, without filling in a registration form. The source material does not say what share of customers take that route, so we assign it none.

A blog with products tied to what the post is about

The blog was built and adapted so that the products related to a post's subject stand underneath it. Content and store are one step apart rather than two separate parts of the site.

The ingredient database

The database makes it possible to sort products by what they are made of, and to find articles containing a chosen ingredient quickly.

A D2C platform on Magento 2 with the features the Cztery Szpaki sales model needs

The project resulted in a D2C sales platform on Magento 2 and in the features around selling, customer service, delivery, reviews, loyalty, gift cards and content. The current case study also names features supporting marketing campaigns and the automation of many internal processes as effects of the work.

The key facts about the Cztery Szpaki project

The work covered a D2C platform on Magento 2 and the features around selling, delivery, reviews and customer service.

Let's talk about a similar implementation

The D2C sales platform was built with Magento 2.

The store was integrated with zaufane.pl, the system responsible for collecting and presenting consumer reviews. The tool handles the stars in Google Ads and PLA campaigns, the stars in organic search results, the widget in the store and the product survey, among other things.

Yes. On the product page they can pick the products available within the package and put together their own composition of the set.

The tool that was built adds up the mass of the articles and reads the postcode. On that basis it calculates a shipping cost consistent with the settings saved in the store's admin panel.

Users can earn points for creating an account, for purchases, for leaving a review of a product and for returning used packaging, among other things. The points can be used as a discount on the next purchase. The programme also covers notifications about rewards expiring.

The solution covers electronic and physical cards. The purchase generates a code with a set period to use it, which — depending on the kind of card — is sent by e-mail or delivered by courier on a prepared card.
